That's right, I know these things for certain. Sounds creepy, but its true.
This post is for those in need of a confidence boost. Who couldn't use a confidence boost every now and then? So, I'm sending the love your way.
1. You are beautiful.
Don't cringe, don't doubt... just accept it. There is beauty in everyone. You are beautiful now and always.
2. Your thoughts are powerful.
Be kind to yourself! If you are the kind of person that is critical of themselves, we have that in common. Know that no one is perfect, but they are perfectly themselves. When you look in the mirror, show love to who you see. I know this is easier said than done, so positive affirmations are a great way to start. It may feel awkward, and you may find resistance, but keep doing it! You are powerful enough to manifest what you want, but you have to remove those negative thoughts first and replace them with positive ones. If you wouldn't say it to someone you love, don't say it to yourself.
3. Your skin is a reflection of the love and self-care that you give yourself.
Some skin issues arise from medical conditions, but a bulk of them stem from not taking the time for yourself. I can personally attest to this. When I get overwhelmed, self-care is the first to go. When we are stressed, why do we eliminate what would make us feel better? I don’t have an answer to that, but clearly, we can’t let that happen. Skincare should be relaxing and rewarding. Take the extra time (or for some, just the time in general) to cleanse gently and thoroughly. Instead of slapping on your moisturizer or other products onto your skin, massage and pat them in. Concentrate on your breathing while doing your skincare routine to reduce stress. That connection with yourself goes a long way.
